მიზანი: მოსწავლეებმა შძლონ თხრობითი ხასიათის ტექსტის გაგება,პერსონაჟების   და ფაქტების ამოცნობა, ინფორმაციის დახარისხება.

გამოწვევა	მასწავლებელი აჩვენებს ნაწყვეტს ანიმაციური ფილმიდან პინოქიოს თავგადასავალი,ინდივიდუალურად უსვავს კითხვებს მოსწავლეებს.	10წუთი
	აჩვენებს სიტყვებს და სთხოვს ამოიცნონ წყვილებმა ის სიტყვები რომლებიც შეხვდათ უკვე წაკითხულ თავებში.	5 წუთი
	მასწავლებელი უკითხავს ზღაპარს და კითხვის დროს წერს ახალ სიტყვებს დაფაზე.	15 წუთი
	მასწავლებელი წერს კითხვებს დაფაზე და მოსწავლეებს სთხოვს წყვლიებში გასცენ პასუხი.	10 წუთი
	მოსწავლეები თამაშობენ „ბინგოს“ ახალი სიტყვების გამოყენებით.	5 წუთი

ELCE Lesson: Diversity and multicultural education for secondary school students

Overall Objective: Students will be able to read and understand diversity and multicultural education and learn them. Language Objective: Students will use target grammar and new vocabulary structures to compare cultures. Civic Education Objective: Students will be able to express awareness of cultural diversity.

Activity 1/pre-reading	Ss match the traditions to the countries in pairs.	5 minute
Activity2	Ss read the text. They try to guess the meaning of the meaning of underline words and they make 1-or 2 Wh question sentences.	15 minute
Activity3/post-reading	Ss check other pairs work from activity 1 and call out 1 or 2 sentences. They ask the questions.	10 minute
Activity4/Assessment	Ss finish the KWL chart “l- what I learn” and express oral what they learn.	9 minute

მიზანი: მოსწავლეებმა შეძლონ ახალი სიტყვების ამოცნობა კონტექსტის მიხედვით შესაფერისი გრამატიკული ცოდნის დახმარებით.

How does the lesson fit with syllabus/timetable	The lesson is in the first position of the unit 7.Ss should study the life in the north, about Sami people.
Learning outcome:	Ss will be able to use the reading strategies to guess the new words into the text and use them.
Materials and references:	Ss book, pens, pencils, poster, papers, computer.
Anticipated problems:	Ss always meet difficulties during the studying. They meet Sami people in this text. May be they meet unknown words which are connected with specific information. For example, national cloths name, animals. They can meet new grammar structures which are not familiar for them.
Proposed solutions:	As Ss will work in pairs they can solve the problems together. In the class there are several Ss who can help their partner. If they are not able to do this, teacher helps them, gives explanation, if it doesn’t work teacher demonstrates it.

Procedure

Warm up	Teacher writes the title “life in the north”, gives the handouts with “KWL” chart and asks to complete “K” and “W” columns in pairs. Ss fill the chart and read loudly.	5 minutes
Activity 1	Teacher asks to read the text in pairs, underline new words during reading. Ss read the text and answer teacher questions.	15minutes
Activity  2	Teacher asks Ss to do task T or F in pairs then read it loudly.	5 minutes
Activity 3	Teacher asks Ss to read loudly the sentences there are the new words and try to translate them using context.	5 minutes
Activity 4	Teacher makes V diagram and asks Ss to compare Sami and Georgian people. Ss complete “L” chart.	10minutes
Home work	Teacher asks Ss to find out information about the northern light and write short story using new words.	2minutes
Assessment	Teacher assesses Ss in reading using the rubric.	3minutes
